My research is focused on understanding ecological and evolutionary mechanisms shaping genetic diversity in populations of marine and freshwater species, and how this information can be used for species conservation and management. I often study these mechanisms across spatial and temporal scales, and I typically rely on using cutting-edge genomic and geospatial methods. I completed my PhD in 2018 from the Virginia Institute of Marine Science, College of William & Mary, and am currently a postdoctoral scientist in the laboratory of Dr. Mariah Meek at Michigan State University.
